Gus Kuhn GS1000
History and DevelopmentTwo Suzuki based race bikes were built for Gus Kuhn in 1978. One for the 1978 season which was ridden by Chas Mortimer and competed in the F1 championship, the IOM TT and European endurance races. The second (above) was developed during the winter of 1978 and has competed in the Coupe D'Endurance Services across Europe including the Le Mans and Barcelona 24 hours, Thruxton 1000km and 1000km De Mettet ridden by Andy Goldsmith and Stuart Hogson.
